We have answered the question in a 2-page summary you can download and share with your committee, or the unit owners in your body corporate.

What You Need to Know Before Buying an Apartment
The Auckland Branch of the BCCG hosted a free event in CBD Auckland, on 27th March 2021. This seminar style event was intended to provide information to anyone considering purchasing an apartment; be it for a lifestyle change, as an investment or simply as a first home buyer choice.
The seminar commenced with a Keynote Address from Chlöe Swarbrick, Green Party MP for Auckland Central. Her address was followed by presentations from a number of sector representatives.

Earthquake Strengthening Seminars
In 2016, BCCG jointly hosted a series of seminars with WCC and Inner City Wellington, looking at strengthening issues faced by residents and owners. This information is still relevant, and much of it is also relevant outside of Wellington, and to major remedial projects other than seismic strengthening. See the presentation material from all 6 seminars.
