Changes to Hazardous Substances Regulations

The BCCG has been notified by MBIE that new Hazardous Substances Regulations that will come into effect on 1st December 2017.
This information is provided as a guide for members to access the information directly from the MBIE website. BCCG offers no opinion on the potential impact of these new regulations at this time, and will look to providing some feedback once the implications are better understood. If required, BCCG will arrange for direct advice from MBIE on the best ways for our members to manage these new requirements.
For many BC, there is unlikely to be any impact, for larger BC especially those with common facilities such as swimming pools, there are likely to be some aspects that will require addressing.
